![]() ![]() If previous games are any indicator, it could be quite a wait before a full expansion for Diablo 4 is made available. ![]() The game already offers a lot of variety in the skills and abilities players can choose, but many feel that it still lacks visual customization options, particularly where the Druid class is concerned. Because this has been a highlighted aspect of the game development since the beginning, it will probably continue to be worked on and improved moving forward, and a new DLC could be released which would focus on adding to those customization options and features. ![]() New DLC or expansions for Diablo 4 could also see further growth in the developers' focus to make Diablo 4 rich in skill customization for characters. Continued story additions and arcs have been confirmed that will expand upon the story from where things are left off at the end of the base game of Diablo 4. Many Diablo 4 fans are hoping for a DLC which will add non-combat pets to the game, as that was a beloved feature from Diablo 3 and seems like an odd omission from this latest title. I'm wondering if Blizzard are wanting to make Diablo IV more of a permanent Diablo live service/MMO, or if we'll eventually get a Diablo V.Previous games in the Diablo franchise have had expansions and DLC which have offered new character classes and other content to the games. It's unlikely we'd get new races in Diablo as Sanctuary is a world of humans, but do you think we'll get many more expansions (with classes, areas, dungeons etc) than normal for a Diablo game? However with D4 being a live service it seems Blizzard almost want to treat it like an MMO, if we go more by WoW (Blizzard's MMO so closest example we have) we've gotten 9 expansions and a multitude of new races and classes along with areas and dungeons to go with them. So it seems with the majority of the games we'd get one expansion, a new act, and 2 classes (Hellfire technically had 3 but I don't count Barb or Bard since you have to edit files to enable them) Last updated at 14:00:17 UTC Weekly Help Desk RAGE Loot Thread Trade Threadĭiablo 1 originally had 3 classes with 1 new class (Monk) and a new dungeon area being added by the unofficial Hellfire expansion.ĭiablo 2 got 2 new classes (Druid and Assassin) and a new act with its Lord of Destruction expansionĭiablo 3 got Crusader with Reaper of Souls, a new act, and eventually a Necromancer class as paid DLC. ![]()
